AIROH has had a great new start in Italian Enduro Championship. On Sunday, May 16th, the fourth race of the season 2021 was run in Fabriano (AN), valid as the sixth race day of the National Championship.
Two English riders of Beta Factory Team, Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman, respectively on second and third position, took AIROH on the podium of overall classification. Holcombe, former winner in Fabriano in 2016 World Championship, was the protagonist of a great performance after coming back finally to races after the long stop period due to an injury.
Excellent day for the French of Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team too, Theo Espinasse, fourth absolute, as Andrea Verona ended sixth, Hamish Macdonald seventh, followed by the team mate Daniel Mccanny, eighth. In the end, another AIROH good result, the Belgian Antoine Magain ends in eleventh position, in the top 15 of overall classification.
About the single classes, AIROH ruled 300 2T with Gianluca Martini. In 250 4T second position for Andrea Verona and fourth for the former cross rider of Lunigiana Team, Samuele Bernardini and sixth position for Diego Nicoletti.
In Junior class, excellent second position (in the championship too) for the young Manolo Morettini who is more and more concrete in his results, despite no good physical conditions due to the problems for a surgical operation of the left knee last winter.
Top 7 of Foreign Classification is all for AIROH, with Holcombe on second position, Freeman third, Espinasse fourth, Macdonald fifth, Mccanney sixth, Magain seventh.
Next meeting for AIROH riders in Italian Enduro Championship is planned for June 6th in Sarnico (BG), fifth round of the season.
