A weekend of lights and shadows for the on road Airohriders engaged on track.
In Magny Cours, on one side the beautiful victory of Andrea Locatelli, new WorldSSP Champion, in race1 on Saturday on the other side of the coin there is his unfortunate fall during the warm-up lap of race2 due to a completely unexpected high side, fortunately without any physical consequences for him, but it left him the chance to ride a good result. Still in the middle class, there is the excellent pole position achieved by Kyle Smith and his second place on Sunday. The Englishman fought for the victory even in the Saturday’s manche but unfortunately has fallen into a double slide that forced him to retire.
While in the WorldSSP300, the race on Sunday saw Filippo Rovelli as one of the main protagonists. On a track made tricky by asphalt due to the rain, and it has been getting wet more and more as the laps go by, Filippo has constantly struggled for the victory until a straight at the penultimate passage has relegated him out of the final sprint.
Leaving France and moving to Spain, precisely in Aragon, in FIM CEV there were three races planned for the ETC, the European Talent Cup, where Davide Alonso got on the second step of the podium twice, which allows him to defend his lead in the championship with still two races to go. His lead over the second, the Dutch Zonta van den Goorbergh, is now 28 points.
Finally, in Jesolo beautiful performance of Edo#31 Savino in the Italian Minimoto Championship. Edoardo, who just fifteen days ago had graduated as European Champion, after taking the pole position, won both scheduled races and brought his lead to 45 points over the second in the standings.
