Superb end to pre-season for AirohRiders at Hawkstone International MX

Hawkstone International MX 2022

Strong performance for AirohRiders at Hawkstone Park, one week until the start of the 2022 MXGP season at Matterley Basin

Thomas Kjer Olsen: "All in all, it was a good day for me at Hawkstone Park. The track was challenging and a very good preparation under race conditions. Since Lacapelle Marival we have been able to improve some things, but there is still plenty work to do. I'm now looking forward to the start of the MXGP season next weekend."

Tom Vialle: “Better than Lacapelle, and good to get into the sand for a race. I had two great starts. I struggled with some arm-pump in the first moto and couldn’t really ride my speed but the second moto was much better; I only lost the overall win on the last lap when I was stuck behind a backmarker. Anyway, the result was not critical here. It was important to work on the bike and we had some difficult riding conditions. I think we made a big step. It was good training and next week we will start the season for real.”

Liam Everts: "We have made important steps in the right direction at Hawkstone Park. The bike and I have harmonized very well and I'm happy with my performance. I can't wait to start my first MX2 GP season in a week."
